Specialist Aviation Services (SAS) (specialist-aviation.com) have awarded Tracware Ltd a contract to provide an additional Aerotrac v2.50 system to support their contract with the Kuwait Police Flying Wing. Aerotrac will be configured to manage both the Part M & Part 145 activities required to support their Airbus Helicopters operated in country.

SAS provide leading edge support to the emergency services and other organisations which rely on aircraft as part of their own operations. This makes SAS the partner of choice for many Police, Air Ambulance, and other public & private sector service providers.

Specialist Aviation Services is a long-term Tracware customer, and they have been using Aerotrac to support their Part M & Part 145 business activities at their Gloucestershire Airport HQ and the remote bases since 2004.

Natalie Bush, Chief Operations Officer – “Specialist Aviation Services had to deliver an oversees Government Contract in Kuwait with a lead time of 90 days to implement and prove a fully operational Airworthiness and Maintenance team in country. Aerotrac are already the proven partners for Airworthiness software within the SAS UK and European operations so it was a natural choice to partner on this exciting venture in the Middle East. All deadlines and deliverables were met and the Aerotrac software is now being utilised for live helicopter maintenance operations in Kuwait. Great team work between SAS and Aerotrac led to this successful outcome.” Commented Natalie Bush, SAS Chief Operations Officer.

“We are delighted to be able to support SAS with this contract and its yet another exciting opportunity for us to apply the advanced functionality of Aerotrac to manage a fleet of complex aircraft,” commented Andy Maley, Managing Director of Tracware.
