Andrew Maley
Founder and Managing Director
Andrew has spent all his working career within the aerospace Manufacturing & Service sector and has held senior position in both Logistics & Operations Management with various companies such as GKN Aerospace, Pilatus Britten-Norman (PBN) and H+S Aviation.
During his time at PBN Andrew co-lead a project to migrate the company’s business system from an IBM mainframe to a LAN based system and was involved in the development of some standalone software for the management of OEM Publications.
In late 1999 he left his then employer and setup Tracware.
“I set up Tracware all those years ago with the intention developing an affordable, functional piece of business software – Aerotrac – specifically for the PART 145 component MRO sector, and then latterly developed the functionality to support Aircraft Management (PART M).
I would like to think that Tracware is more than just a software company; We pride ourselves in developing close relationships with everybody we work with and like to think of ourselves as Solution Providers. I learnt very early on that it’s not all about the software, it’s about behaviour in business.”
Andrew holds a number of formal qualifications, ranging from TEC Mechanical Engineering through to a Fellowship with the Institute of Management (IM) and he has considerable practical experience in Business Process Management and systems implementations.
