Southwest Airmotive Corporation has been a name in aviation since the early forties, and since 2004 have been providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services to all Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines. The management team have more than 70 years of combined experience in aviation and engine overhaul and are Pratt & Whitney PT6 Specialists.

Located in a 9,000 Square Feet facility in Eloy, Arizona, USA, Southwest Airmotive Corp have assembled one of the finest repair and support teams, with an understanding of how to reduce maintenance cost without compromising safety and quality. The company’s capability includes all scheduled and non-scheduled depot level maintenance including overhauls and conversions on both PT6A & PT6T engines.

Southwest Airmotive first went live with Aerotrac v2.30 in January 2006 and upgraded to Aerotrac v2.50 in 2017.

Honestly, we held off on the upgrade to Aerotrac v2.50 using the excuses of: we didn’t want the disruption of having to learn our way around a new system, the older program was meeting our needs, etc. When I finally did the Aerotrac upgrade I was thrilled to find that not only was it a seamless transition, but the program does an even better job of managing all the information needed for each area of our company and giving us all the tools we need to make our business run smoothly.

This is a must-have program, and I cannot see running the repair station without it. My only regret is I didn’t upgrade sooner.
